FastBREAK Design at Powerhouse Museum

I woke up extra early this morning and ventured out for my very first FastBREAK at the Powerhouse Museum. It’s a 7:45am mini-forum – excellent! “Each month, five sharp young entrepreneurs from various industries tackle big questions with five-minute responses around themes of creativity, commercialisation, collaboration, connections and conversation.” says the Powerhouse Museum. This month’s theme was Design – a nod to Design Week which launches tonight. Hooray! We even had a neighbour speak; Suzanne Boccalatte from the aptly named graphic design studio ‘Boccalatte’ who are two doors down from us. I also had the privilege of hearing from Troy Lum from Hopscotch films, again – last time was at the MCA during Creative Sydney. Nice to see a familiar faces! Happy Design Week Sydney, until next time…
