Ive just finished reading Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes (was feeling a bit feral!). So the work of illustrator Nadia Turner caught my eye recently, it has that distinct wild woman feel, alluding to myths and stories, nature, music and all things feminine and soulful. Although very different in style her work reminds me of Frida Kahlo’s artwork, maybe its just the strong feminine tone that Im picking up on?
A Melbourne-based illustrator & artist Nadia Turner www.waywardharper.com exhibited her work in a group show titled “Stories To Tell” earlier this year, . Nadia’s careful brushwork and detailed compositions are so beautiful, and I find her work so empowering, alive and exciting. A truly creative Wild Woman!
