Fresco was approached by Choc Pot, a dessert bar in Burwood, to create packaging and label ideas for their range of products. The Choc Pot, brings a fun and playful twist to classic dessert favourites. They make all their treats from scratch and use only the best ingredients. They came to Fresco and asked us to design labels for their ‘take home’ range — to be sold in store. We developed a ‘cheeky’ graphic style for their Salted Caramel, Drinking Soil and Nutty Choc Praline Spread labels. School Spectacular is a vibrant project undertaken for The Arts Unit for the Department of Education and Communities, we have been fortunate enough to be involved with this project for the last few years. This project allows us to focus on the interesting and varied world of education event design. The design brief required us to reflect the energy and vibrancy of the annual spectacle of 3000 children in a choreographed arts showcase. Once again the Brief Exchange graphic design exhibition has come and gone with great success. This novel idea is the brainchild of Noeleen Doheny who curates the exhibition and invites creatives from around the globe to exchange design briefs at random with fellow design enthusiasts. This year was my fourth year contributing to this exhibition as I find it never fails to get the creative juices flowing. NSW Police Legacy is a charity dedicated to the welfare, care and financial support of police families following the death of a serving or retired police officer. Each year, to raise money, the charity hosts a Blue Ribbon Ball which celebrates the proud traditions and history of the NSW Police Force and reiterates the invaluable offerings of the charity in an appeal for donations and support.
