Fresco was recently approached by UNSW to refresh the look and feel of their quarterly publication. Uniken is UNSW’s flagship magazine. Published quarterly, it reports on issues affecting the tertiary education sector and the latest developments in UNSW’s research and teaching. It also features comment from leading academics on issues of public concern. The 24-page magazine has a print run of 6,000 and is distributed primarily to staff, students and visitors to the University. It is also read by journalists, politicians and other stakeholders.
The brief required the design to be fresh with a clean and contemporary creative tone. They wanted a publication with intuitive navigation, easy to read articles and a look and feel that matched in with the sophistication and quality of the purpose of the magazine. In addition to the design Fresco also looks after the print management ensuring timely delivery with second to none print quality.
