Primus Hotel, a luxury, heritage-listed hotel in Sydney, approached Fresco Creative to design a cohesive, sophisticated look and feel for their overarching brand and each of their venues. Primus Hotel is a shining example of inter-war period architecture and the former head quarters of the Sydney Metropolitan Water Sewerage and Drainage (M.W.S. & D.) Board. The refined graphic elements speak to the heritage of the building and the decor throughout by using line work and geometric patterns that resonate with the Art Deco movement. Using this rationale as a base for the design we developed a unique way to differentiate between their venues while retaining a sense of unity throughout.
