Graphic designers have a paper fetish – creatively speaking!
Mohawk had their annual paper show last night and we at Fresco Creative couldn’t wait to get our hands on some beautiful paper stock, view gorgeous paper impressions and embellishments, and learn what’s new in the paper world.
When the studio is briefed on a new project, we love to suggest different ways that will help bring a design to life, whether it be the type of paper or what we transform the paper into.
Just recently, Fresco Creative had the pleasure to work with Loreto College Normanhurst on an event invitation for the opening of one of their new campus buildings – the Gonzaga Barry Centre.
This beautifully crafted invite, shown below, takes inspiration from the outdoors, utilising the shape of the Australian blossom and the colour palette reminiscent of a rainbow. This theme is also reflected through the way the paper folds and is die cut, opening up into several panels reflective of the opening of a blossom.
