Fresco was approached by Australian Mental Health Outcomes and Classification Network (AMHOCN) to put together a series of training manuals that would communicate to adults, children and older persons. These manuals were developed as part of a training package designed to provide a basic introduction to; the context of the National Outcomes and Case mix Collection (NOCC); the data collection protocol; and the measures used specific to each age group and service setting. Fresco employed the use of colour coding the series as a quick reference to help the user navigate through the different volumes. A series of simple icons and infographics were also employed to help ensure information and data was easy to digest and had design impact. The result was a series of manuals that were consistent in branding but differentiated in content with information clearly communicated in an engaging manner. More recently, we designed a simple DL brochure educating people on having their say during mental health assessments.
